Lea Bächle is a European wedding planner who specializes in designing artistic and exclusive weddings. Her professional career combines a deep cultural understanding, exceptional organizational skills and an exceptional passion for aesthetics.

Her close connection to art is rooted in her childhood. After training at the Berlin State Ballet School, she deepened her knowledge by studying cultural studies and art and cultural management and complemented her expertise with a foundation in business. A defining moment was the conception of an art exhibition, which sparked her enthusiasm for detailed planning and creative event design.

The intense joy of organizing her own wedding finally inspired her to establish her own wedding planning business and integrate artistic elements into wedding concepts.
This passion also gave rise to the name of the company: Artiage — an artificial word that is derived from “Art” (French for art) and “Marriage” (French for wedding) perfectly reflects the vision of artfully staged weddings. Lea Bächle is characterized by creativity, organizational excellence and reliability. With a background in Cultural Studies and Arts and Cultural Management, as well as professional experience working within cultural institutions, I understand museums not only as extraordinary wedding venues, but also from an institutional perspective. I am familiar with the particular requirements of hosting events in these spaces – from the careful handling of artworks and historic interiors to security regulations, visitor operations and complex organisational processes. Today, this knowledge informs my approach to planning weddings in museums, galleries and other cultural venues.

Destination Weddings
in Italy

Italy is far more to me than simply a destination where I plan weddings. I speak Italian and celebrated my own wedding in Italy and have travelled extensively throughout the country – from Northern Italy and the Italian Lakes to Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia and Sicily. I combine this personal connection with professional planning on the ground: from finding the right venue and selecting and coordinating local vendors to designing the entire wedding weekend. Rather than following a predefined “Italian wedding” aesthetic, I create an individual concept that reflects both who you are and the character of the place you have chosen.

International
Couples

Having lived in the USA myself, I understand both European and North American culture from personal experience. I work in German, English and Italian, allowing me to communicate confidently between my couples, venues and local vendors. For international couples from the USA, Canada and beyond, I combine an understanding of different cultural expectations with the expertise of a European wedding planner. I support couples planning their destination wedding in Italy or elsewhere in Europe from abroad – bringing together the logistical, cultural and creative aspects of their celebration.
