With a background in Cultural Studies and Arts & Cultural Management, as well as professional experience working within cultural institutions, I understand museums not only as extraordinary wedding venues, but also from an institutional perspective. I am familiar with the particular requirements of hosting events in these spaces – from the careful handling of artworks and historic interiors to security regulations, visitor operations and complex organisational processes. Today, this knowledge informs my approach to planning weddings in museums, galleries and other cultural venues.
Destination Weddings
in Italy
Italy is far more to me than simply a destination where I plan weddings. I speak Italian, chose Italy for my own wedding and have travelled extensively throughout the country – from Northern Italy and the Italian Lakes to Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia and Sicily. I combine this personal connection with professional planning on the ground: from finding the right venue and selecting and coordinating local vendors to designing the entire wedding weekend. Rather than following a predefined “Italian Wedding” aesthetic, I create an individual concept that reflects both who you are and the character of the place you have chosen.
International
Couples
Having lived in the USA myself, I understand both European and North American culture from personal experience. I work in German, English and Italian, allowing me to communicate confidently between my couples, venues and local vendors. For international couples from the USA, Canada and beyond, I combine an understanding of different cultural expectations with the expertise of a European wedding planner. I support couples planning their destination wedding in Italy or elsewhere in Europe from abroad – bringing together the logistical, cultural and creative aspects of their celebration.
